I posted this as a reply but figured some people might be interested in this:
I feed LO every 3 hours. 1-1.5 hours after the session I pump. I try to do this after every feeding but if we have to go anywhere I skip out on the pumping. Before I was lucky to get 1 oz all together. Now I can get 4oz or less. I try and freeze one bag a day for a freezer stash and then do one-4oz bottle for DH to taking a night feeding. Sometimes, if I skip out on a feeding and use pumped milk for DH to give LO a bottle, I pump 5oz. I started taking 1st Step for Mom's Breastfeeding Milk......https://www.walgreens.com/store/c/1st-step-for-moms-breast-feeding-milk-thistle/fenugreek-dietary-supplement-capsules/ID=prod6063840-product
It's really helped with increasing my supply. It contains a combination of things rather than just fenugreek. I take 2 pills once a day and starting to drop it. Hoping my supply stays up. Its expensive but since it contains 60 pills, its enough for one month.
Definitely try and pump in the mornings, I can pump so much more. We traveled back home yesterday from family Christmas. I nursed LO when we left and then about an hour down the road, I started pumping to save. I pump when I can but don't let it take over my life and time from family with the holidays!
Re: Fenugreek combination...this has really helped.
