when did u let yourself sleep more than 4 hours without pumping? I'm hoping to make it to 8 weeks since that is when I go back to work.

Re: EPers...

  • When I EP'ed for DS I just followed his cues-- when he ate, I pumped so it wasnt until he was sleeping more than 4 hours at night that I would go more than 4 hours w/o pumping. Thankfully DS was a good sleeper and was going 6-8 hour stretches by about 7 weeks.

  • I'm not very scheduled when it comes to pumping. I just kind of listen to my body and if it feels like my breasts are feeling full, I pump. My goal is also to make it til I go back to work at around 6 weeks. I don't really have a job that I can pump at, so we'll just have to play it by ear when I go back to work.

  • At 10 weeks I went 6 hours without pumping.  Now at 12 weeks I go almost 12 hours at night.  LO goes to bed at 7 and is up at 7 (with 1-2 bottles in between). I pump 8am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm.  My first AM pump i am FULL and I get 16-20 oz  the rest of my pumps I get anywhere from 5-8 depending on how hydrated I stay.
