I need a Christmas/thank you/goodbye gift

for our DCP. At Thanksgiving we told her that if dh didn't have job that we would be done at the end of the year. She told dh on Thrusday that she has a final interview with an 18 month old which means we are officially out of daycare. I want to give her something to remember us .

Maybe "donate" something to the daycare you think the future kids would like? I'd get her a GC for a massage or pedi.

I know it's tough (and I hope it doesn't come off wrong) but I think this is a really good decision for you guys. If N is home, it only makes sense to me that he stays with the kids. He can job search while they nap or watch a movie.

I know that it is a good financial decision but not for anything else. I liked having the kids be around other people. Plus when dh gets interviews we have to pray that I am off or can work the night shift so he can go and then when he actually gets a job we have to find a new daycare and I don't think we can afford real daycare so that will be a new stress.
