Rumi's Kitchen is really good, it is Persian. You would need reservations, it is on Roswell. Would you be willing to drive a little further to Brookhaven? I would recommend Kaleidoscope or Valenza if you wanted to come here.

I swear, Rumi's is only the best restaurant in Sandy Springs.

Although we haven't been I was going to suggest Rumi's because I've only heard wonderful things about it AND there is NOTHING in the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area!
Across from Perimeter there is Eclispe de Luna, but that may be a been there done that place
There are tons of cool places to eat in that area! Just around Perimeter mall, there is Seasons 52, Fleming's, Goldfish, Chequer's, Eclipse de la Luna, Wildfire Grille...trendiness varies though. Personally, I find the food too dry (the meat) at Rumi's kitchen and overrated. Especially when there is an even better Persian restaurant, Persepolis, with more authentic food just down that road. If you friends like Sushi, there is Taki Japanese Steak house & Blue Grotto Sushi to name a few..

Interesting. I hated Persepolis with a passion (and I love Persian food), I found their chicken really, really salty.I don't think the menus at Rumis and Persepolis are very different. I love Mirage, which is also down the street, at the corner of Abernathy and Roswell, and Sufi's, but that is in Midtown.
Eclipse de Luna is fun. I have never had a good experience at Goldfish, I had no idea it was even still open!
