okay so we are expecting #2 in may. our first son will be 18 mos. we are putting the boys in separate rooms (since our rooms are tiny and to avoid having them wake each other). how have you veteran mommies handled the whole baby monitor thing? does someone actually make a monitor for 2 separate rooms? (i am yet to find one and no one seems to know if it exists) or has anyone found two that are compatible?
thanks in advance!
Re: monitors for two
We have a Summer Infant Slim & Secure video monitor and an extra camera. The monitor will scan up to four cameras. The monitor and camera 1 were about $200. Camera 2 was about $90. Summer has a new one out called Baby Touch. Not cheap, but I hear it's awesome.
I found that I needed two monitors even if my kids shared a room. They are not always in the same room at the same time and even if they are I want a camera on each crib.
