tight belly?

I don't remember my belly feeling this tight last time. It's been weeks now and it *almost* feels like a constant BH.  But it's not b/c I can tell when I have BH.  But my tummy is just so uncomfortably tight.  I feel like my muscles and the skin are going to rip open with every step I take.  It's so bad that it's cut down my activity level b/c of the discomfort!

Anyone else's belly seem unbearably tight, too?

    Those are exactly how my BH contractions feel.  I had one tightness that lasted for over four hours.  My doctor said that BH is a little different in everyone.  Drink lots of water and keep an eye on it!

    My belly is also tight, especially while standing,  I suspect it's something to do with the muscles involved in standing as well as the baby growing faster than the outside can keep up.

    This happens to me, but mostly at night-- I think it's fullness from eating +/- BH from dehydration for me.  So uncomfortable, though-- I feel like I can't move without popping!

     I'm due 1/10 also and was just thinking this last night. Definitely feels stretched to the limit and like my belly is just going to rip open. Her elbows and knees almost bring tears to my eyes!

    Yes, my belly is so super tight almost all the time now. Even around the sides. I even feel the stretching of the front of my stomach (something I hadn't felt before a few days ago). The whole belly is rock hard - I feel like I have this huge beach ball under my shirt! I'm also starting to feel some pre-labor contractions way down low, which are different than the super strong BH contractions I've been feeling for months now. My DR said on Thursday that "things are starting to happen"! yay!

    I agree, I feel like she's going to rip my skin open. I never felt like this with DS. I'm due 1/14 and have no idea how she can get any bigger in there but with Christmas and New Years and all these parties its going to be soo hard to control myself from eating all the goodies!

    I have this sometimes, especially after eating.  I didn't think it was from dehydration so thanks for the tip!  I need to be more mindful of my water intake these days!
