Cribs- Size of box question

When you picked your crib up did it fit in the trunk of a car? We got a crib from BRU and its in, just not sure if it will fit in my car. I am thinking it should I have a pretty good sized trunk and the seats lay down.

We got the Babi Italia Hamilton crib and the box is enormous. There is no way it would fit in the trunk of a car. It wouldn't fit in the back of our Forrester with the seats pulled down. We ended up asking my in-laws to borrow their van to bring it home. I would estimate that the box is 5 feet long, 4 feet tall, and almost a foot deep.

We ordered from an independently owned baby store and were happy to pay $50 for delivery. NO WAY would any of the pieces have fit in either of our cars. We weren't even sure it would all fit in a big pick up truck... but that was a crib, dresser, hutch, nightstand and full conversion rails...and a mattress. The mattress is all that would have fit in our car.

we bought the babi italia pinehurst for dd and needed a truck. we had a large car then too but there was no way it was going to fit. the guy that worked there said he's tried to get them in everything, and they just dont fit in ANYTHING other than a van or a truck. The box really is enormous

Definitely no. We ordered one from JC Penney's and that sucker was enormous and very very heavy. DH was all cocky and we just brought his SUV to pick it up and it wouldn't even fit in there. We ended up having to rent a truck from U-Haul.
