If your DC wants stuffed animals for Christmas, what are you doing? Giving them what they want, or limiting how many they get?
We got DD a Doodlebear, which doesn't really count, but now she wants some Webkinz too. I don't really want any more stuffed animals in the house! But I want her to be excited about what she's getting.
Re: Stuffed animals & Christmas
I hear you! Every time someone gives a stuffed animal to the girls I groan inside. We have a huge bucket of them, any they don't really play with them.
About twice a year, we go through the toys together and give away the toys that they don't play with anymore.
DD loves her "stuffed friends", and wants more - specifically, Woody, Jessie, Stinky Pete, Buzz, etc, etc, etc (all Toy Story ones.) We got her Woody and Jessie, and that's all the stuffed animals she's getting. I know she'll be excited by them, plus I think she'll love the other stuff she's getting (that she didn't ask for). Puzzles, books, and the biggie, the loving family dollhouse.
