Success after IF

Yes, my plan is working! Jack is potty training HIMSELF!

LOL - he has no pants on right now and while I was in basement getting laundry he went upstairs (to second floor) and dropped a big deuce in his potty, all on his own.  Called me upstairs to tell me about it afterward and we danced around.  We've been halfheartedly potty training for a while (more like one quarter heartedly) but nothing serious, haven't said goodbye to diapers yet.  But my plan is to close the deal over my Christmas break, I have a good chunk of time off so we can go full out - and I think things are looking good!  (I was secretly hoping if I waited long enough he'd just do it on his own.  Looks like it's working LOL!!)

ETA: Currently the poop is still in the potty as Jack's daddy is napping and Jack wants to show it to him, so I am not allowed to dump it yet.  OK kiddo, you can keep your turd for now, you earned it.  HA!

Wheee!

  • I'm hoping Nicholas self trains himself once he turns 3.  If he does you'll hear me yelling "WAHOOO"  all the way from South Carolina.
