Car adapter for Medela double pump

Anyone use one or know if they exist?

Last night I went to see my husband's band and just being out for 4.5 hours my boobs were ginormous, rock hard and leaking all over me when I got home. It'd be nice to know if I could pump in the car when we have somewhere to go (we have a wedding coming up that's about 2.5 hours away). If I'm actually going I'll have to pump in the car or else I can't go probably, after seeing what happened last night.

    yep, they make them and i know buy buy baby carries them.  bru might too.  you could certainly order online if you can't find in store.

    oh wait. crap. if i pump in the car, won't the milk go bad if i don't go home pretty quickly?

    Take a cooler bag with an ice pack and you should be fine.  

    I bought a car adapter that allows you to plug any standard plug into it.  It worked fine with my pump, and I can use it later if I ever need it for other things.

    I pump in the car all the time. I have a hands free pump bra and I bring a cooler bag to keep the milk cool. I found the Medela car adapter on Amazon.com - I couldn't find the Freestyle car adapter in BRU - make sure you check your manual for which adapter you need- Medela makes 2 for separate pumps. Good luck!

    The car adapter is so handy to have!!!  I got one for my bday and used it on our road trip over Thanksgiving. It worked great; I didn't notice a difference in the suction.

    Does your Medela have a battery pack? You could also use that if you don't want to buy the car adapter.

    i pump in the car using mine everyday on my way to work, sometimes if I can't get a 3rd session in at work i also pump on my way home.  That adapter was the best $20 I've ever spent.
