do you have 2 rockers?

I love my rocking recliner for DS' room and we don't use it a TON anymore, but I'm sure we will be here shortly when we transition him from our room to the nursery. He's a little high maintenance and still needs held to sleep and isn't sttn so I can't take it out of there. But what do I do for DD in April?? Did you bite the bullet and get another one? I love ours, but don't have the other $500 so I guess just get a cheap one?? Then again, DD will be sleeping in our room so I guess I would use DS' recliner just for nursing...

    We got a 2nd one. My DD is 16 months old and we still rock everyday, twice a day. We read books in her glider before her nap and bedtime. I'd be lost without my glider in her room. With DS we rock him to sleep in it at least 2-3 times a week. I know I'm not using his too much right now but once we integrate a nap routine in with books like I do with DD we will be using it more. I honestly can't see us not using either of our's any time soon!

    Oh and we bought our DS's glider off of Craigslist. It was $55 and brand new! I suggest looking there if you are interested...

    Ours are almost 4 and 5 and we still have rocker/gliders in both rooms!

    They're still essential to our snuggle and read bed time routine.

    I bought a cheaper 2nd one for the older child's room and kept the super comfy one for the nursery where I'd be BF'ing.

     

    Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
    Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

    Instead of buying a second glider I put the one we have in our loft. It's very rare that I will rock my toddler, so it's used primarily for the baby.

    We're going to move the glider into #2's room and put an Eames replica off craigslist into DS's room for story time & to help make his room look less baby-ish.

    We got a second one, since they had separate rooms in our old house. We've since gotten rid of one since we moved and they now share a room. Our second one was much cheaper, I want to say arond $170. That is actually the one I chose to keep.
