anyone have a partial molar preg?

i was diagnosed on 10/14 and had an emergency d&c 10/15. my levels started at500,000 and 12/2 they were 10. my levels have been at 10 for two weeks...praying they go down at tomorrows visit. if not, possible Methotrexate shot! =( hoping i dont have to go down that road.

i have to wait 6 mo from neg hcg levels before i try again

has anyone been told they can try again in a shorter time frame?

    I had a pmp two years ago on 10/14. I am so sorry for your loss and everything else that goes along with it. My numbers slowed down at about 20 and it took me 9 more weeks to get under 5 after that, but I did not need methodtrexate. So keep it mind it does slow down the lower you get. Babycenter has a great molar pregnancy group that you will find a lot of support from women who have gone through the same experience as you.

    My doctor hasn't told me that is what is going on with me but I did get a shot of  methodtrexate. Reading everything about molar pregnancy I am sure that is what is going on with me too.They told me it was a chemical pregnancy.  I found out on 11/10 I was pregnant then by 11/14 checking my levels found out I lost it already. Then checking level again they started to go back up which is why they gave me the shot. 2 weeks later I am now down to 35. But I've been bleeding since about 11/16. They told me to wait 3 months before trying again but I talked with my husband and we may wait longer. This was our second loss this year. Tomorrow would have been my due date for my first. So it's been a hard week. Good luck to you. Remember you aren't alone.

    Totally agree on the recommendation of BabyCenter's board/group.

    I had a PMP last year and had to have 7 rounds of methotrexate and in total, had to wait a year before trying again. It sucked.

    I hope you have a much easier healing process and that you get your take home baby soon.

    good news ladies...my levels went down to 9. and ill get my results on monday from my friday bloodwork...pray they are under 5! SO MY DR SAID IM MOST LIKELY NOT GOING TO NEED THE SHOT!  but i still have to wait 6 mo=(
