C-sections

Intro and question

I'm 7 months PP after an emergency c/s.  I was induced at 38 weeks because NST revealed DS had no amniotic fluid (placenta failed), I laboured for about 15 hours and then DSs heart rate dropped and we were rushed to the OR.  I had an epi a few hours before that didn't block entirely because I had to remain laying on my right side.  Anyway, long story short, I still have numbness and tingling in my left thigh and I wonder if anyone else has had this? It has gotten much better, but I wonder if it will ever go away completely...anyone?

Sorry for the short novel lol

Re: Intro and question

  • I had some hip and thigh numbness issues with DD. I went to the doctors and they did some workups to see if anything was wrong. However, the best thing that I did was go to physical therapy. Strenghtening my back muscles seemed to fix it.

  •  Thanks for the reply, totally had a "moment" and forgot about this post until last night when I was chasing sleep lol.

I have asked my OB and GP and they both said that nothing can be done and if it isn't causing me too much discomfort (thank goodness it isn't), nothing will be done. I just hope it doesn't stay like this forever!
