Medela tubing help!

This could potentially be a really dumb question but I need to ask. I am cleaning the tubes out and the Medela manual says to remove the end that connects to the pump which is fine but how do you get the damn things back in?and they are not exactly easy to get off either. Is what I am doing right? Seems like it should be a little easier

    I thought you weren't really supposed to clean those...hmmm...maybe I should look into that.  Oops

     Are you using a pisa? If so - you only need to clean the tubing if they get milk in them, which is rare. I unplug mine from the pump face after pumping but they just slide back on. I've never removed the yellow part from the tubing and am not sure that could go back on...
