2nd time moms...bloat or bump

I'm either severely bloated or crazy.

I woke up this morning, can't suck in my stomach anymore and it's hard, which is kinda strange lol.  I look like i'm a few months along.

Anyone else with me? lol 

I'm only 5 weeks...and a little scared to see what I will look like at 20 weeks when I actually started to show last time.

I'm going to a holiday party tonight with mostly family who already know (my family cannot hold a secret).  I can't wait for the "aw you're already showing" comments and me responding with its just bloat, but thank you. :)

    This is happening for me too- my husband felt my belly yesterday and saw- oh my it is already getting hard...umm yah the baby is the size of a pea! I am BLOATED! lol

    Bloat. With DS I looked 5 months pregnant at the end of the day early on, and it went away around 8-10w. The real bump started around 14/15w.

    The baby is small, yes.  But your uterus is the thing that "shows." I was told by an ob (not mine, a friend) that your uterus just prepares earlier if you already have a child, it knows what to do.  And i am having "consecutive pregnancies" so I am huge already!  I look like I am about 4 months pregnant.

    I have a little "pouch" I call it above where my c-section incision is.  I started noticing it last week (before my BFP) and have noticed it get a little bigger this week.  I have one pair of pants that are uncomforable and DH thinks I'm crazy.  I bought a bella band yesterday and he asked why and I responed with "I want to be prepared, it grows overnight"  he busted out laughing.  Guess we will see whos laughing in a few weeks lol.

    I'm 4 weeks...but I'm sure I will have the same issue soon.  (considering I never really stopped looking like 3 months pg after I had dsEmbarrassed

    ugh its so bloat!  None of my pants fit.  At least it better be bloat, im not ready to show at 5 weeks tomorrow!

    Not yet here! I was back at the gym working out, so not sure how long it will take. Not like I really had all that much time to get back into shape. With DS I started showing around 21 weeks.. I can't wait to see how soon I start this time around!

    I am 6 weeks.  I think it is bloat and bump.  I have been trying to hide it under my winter coat.

Confirmed second miscarriage, no heartbeat, no growth beyond 7 weeks, 5/19/09. TTC again, on baby aspirin, due to value of 23 on Anticardiolipin Antibodies. BFP 11/15/09. Brown spotting, Beta 3735 11/25/09, Beta 5602 11/28/09. Anticardiolipin Antibodies now negative, still on baby asprin. On 100 mg of Prometrium (progesterone) until 10 weeks. Good heartbeat at 1st appt. 12/16/09. Started taking fish oil. Perigestational hemorrhage and red bleeding 12/17/09. 2nd Ultrasound-8 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/17/09. Baby measured 9 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/23/09. Good NT Scan on 1/8/10, heartbeat 164. EDD 7/28/10. TEAM BLUE! Aidan Thomas born on May 26, 2010. Baby #2, BFP 11/27/11, EDD 6/5/12. TEAM PINK!     At this point, it's definitely a bloated bump Wink  However, this bloat cannot be sucked in, tucked in, or hidden LOL.  It is just totally out there to be seen!  I'm already rubber-banding my bigger jeans, and I wore one pair of maternity jeans yesterday (they. felt. awesome.)  

    Just wear a flowy sweater or tunic if you've got one.  Those have been my "go-to" shirts the past week.  Have fun!

    If I don't concentrate on sucking it in I definitely look like I'm 6 months pregnant.  And I have a hair band around my jeans button already. Embarrassed

    I have heard this as well.  It's like your body "knows" what to do.  It is different than bloat..but still bloat.  I am already up a size in jeans and wearing maternity tops.  Sometimes I just look fat and sometimes it looks pregnant.  I don't think other people notice yet..just looks like I have put on a few pounds to other people.

    Ugh, i feel huge even though my H tells me I'm nuts and nobody has guessed at work yet.  We're trying to keep it a secret until 13 weeks so I'm hoping it stays under control a little while longer. Thank god it's winter and I can get away with leggings and oversized sweaters/tunics for the next couple months!

    I know it's just bloat.. but bloat or bump, I LOOK pregnant. It is becoming pretty hard to hide. I was hoping to get through 1st tri without "showing" but that's not gonna happen.
