o x y c l e a n w/ front loading washer?

How did you use the powdered oxy w/ liquid detergent in your front loader?

The oxy website says to dilute it and put it in the liquid bleach dispenser OR just add the powder into the tub before adding the clothes.

I'm kinda scared to add something to the TUB in a front loader - but our washer manual says to only use liquid bleach in the bleach compartment (so even if I dilute the oxy in water and put it in the bleach dispenser I don't know if that will mess it up).

Any experience with this?  We have an LG that's about 4-5 years old.

    I just throw a small amount (to the 1st or 2nd line) into the tub and my normal amount of detergent (which isn't much since it's a HE machine).  No problems so far and I've been doing that for a year or more!
