experience with Swedish Midwifery Ballard?

we are TTC and I am looking into Swedish Midwifery for our next one, I've met with Audrey Allard one of the CNM's and she was awesome; I know if we do end up using them it is a great practice so I wouldn't be seeing a specific person everytime.  Anyone have any experiences with them good or bad?  I am getting over a loss and a terrible OB office and am looking for a good provider. thanks!

    I didn't do the Ballard Midwives...but just wanted to say that the Swedish Ballard Hospital was amazing if you decide to deliver there. The nurses were wonderful in helping me achieve a natural birth, and seemed very comfortable with supporting that and breastfeeding (I imagine they are used to working with midwives?)

    Unfortunately I don't have any experiences to add either, but I'm planning on transferring to the Swedish Ballard Midwives. I've been seeing my family doc, but she's at Virginia Mason and they don't deliver babies so I would have to transfer somewhere eventually. I scheduled my first appointment with them in January and hope it goes well!

    I saw the midwives with both of my pregnancies and had two wonderful, hospital births with them.  Heather assisted both of our births but I really liked all of them.  I agree with the comment on the nursing staff as well. Both of my babies were med-free, my birth plan and wishes were very much respected. I would also highly recommend participating in their Centering Pregnancy program, particularly if this is your first.  gl!

    I used Swedish Midwifery at Ballard. Mia delivered Cooper (11/20/11). I LOVED them! I joined the centering pregnancy group and met two of my closest friends. i would highly recommend them. My favorite was Maggy Bolton. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
