I know our babies will be born during peak flu season and on top of that during winter so likely we have to take extra precautions. So how soon do you ladies plan on taking your newborns out on the town?
I have 3 weeks to register LO with the embassy. I also had my flu shot, so I'm not terribly worried. I can't stay cooped up for weeks in our tiny 2 bedroom with DH and my mom. As soon as I'm functional, we'll be taking some strolls.

Hopefully before her 2 week doctor's appointment so I can feel confident going to that! We'll definitely bundle her up and take her for some walks around the block with our dogs, and my goal is to make one trip to the grocery store (even just to buy milk) to practice getting her fed, changed, in the car seat, etc.
Where will y'all be taking the LOs during your time off (if you have some)? I was thinking the mall, restaurants, grocery store, perhaps a movie if she's a REALLY good eater/sleeper and I can go to a matinee that's not going to be too crowded...sigh. I do not want to be locked in my house for 3 months.
I have my flu shot as well. Im a homebody anyhow but I may visit my mom some days and she only lives like 5 minutes away, maybe go to the mall, grocery store nothing crazy in the beginning but once she gets a bit older maybe summer I really want to take her to the beach.
