so Dr called me today and said some of the results came back from the d&c, he wanted me to come down and get some blood drawn to monitor the hcg levels to make sure they are dropping. On the phone he said that the tests are pointing towards a molar pregnancy. I looked it up online & its too much to bare. anyone ever have this ?

Re: possible molar
Yes. A molar pregnancy is one in which abnormal tissue develops rather than an embryo. It is very rapid growth and Hcgs are usually through the roof. If you have a molar pregnancy, they will monitor you for the next 6 months or so to make sure that no tissue is left behind to continue to grow. (they monitor your hcg levels to determine this). They do this because, apparently, in rare cases rapidly growing tissue can overcome other areas in the mother's body--so they just take extra care to make sure that you don't have anything left. The vast majority of women require no further treatment after their d&c. Unfortunately, if this was a molar pregnancy, you will likely be advised not to TTC until after your monitoring is over.
There have been other mom's here with this diagnosis. Hopefully, they will chime in with their experience. You may want to edit your title to include "possible molar"--so that they notice.
I'm very sorry for your loss.
