endoscopy scheduled

DD's endoscopy is scheduled for next Friday due to how symptomatic she is.  They are not even waiting for the results of the blood test at this point.  I am semi relieved that we are making progress and somewhat unnerved that she needs the procedure.  No real point, just thought I would share.

  • Endoscopy is the next step for our little guy too....waiting to see if he gets any better.  Hope she feels better and I hope you can figure things out.  Please post how it went.

  • I will definitely keep you posted.  Just had her blood work today, and hoping she feels better (she has had a fever all week) so that can proceed.

  • just to try to ease any angst, the endoscopy for me as the patient was not a big deal. just slept alot the rest of the day.

as someone who was not diagnosed as celiac until 23 and was sick her whole childhood, let me assure you that having a diagnosis and being able to feel GOOD was a HUGE blessing.

    best of luck to all!

Thanks, I also have had one as an adult, more worried about the sedation than the procedure, hate putting her through it but know it is in her best interest
