asshat award of the day goes to...

So I'm sitting in my car again, waiting for Henry to wake up, and this asshat rides by on his bike. Behind him he has one of those kid carriers with a toddler in it. And behind them was a kid on a bike with training wheels on - he was maybe 4. Not one of them had a coat on. Oh, and did I mention its 38 degrees and raining!? What an idiot, what is wrong with people?

    Fuzzy snow suits are my new favorite thing. I just dressed my DD in one to go for a walk and she fell asleep nursing. She is going to wake up sweaty, but I'm not waking her since she needs the sleep.

    If I've noticed one thing from being on these boards, it's that you people are SEVERELY judgmental are in absolutely no position to be. 

    Like PP poster said, they might not be able to afford coats.

    And as for "teens" not wearing jackets, well guess what? Not everyone thinks it is cold. I'm 22 years old and it stays about 55-65 degrees where I am from, and I'll be damned if I'm wearing a jacket or long sleeves if I don't have to.

    And as far as my daughter is concerned, I dress her for inside temperatures with a jacket. Cuz guess what? They don't spend that much time outdoors so I'm not going to sweat my child to death.

    I'm sorry, there are so many programs that will provide coats to those in need. All they'd have to do is seek out a church, social service office, thrift donation center, etc, and he'd be able to get warm coats for his little ones. 

    And as far as my daughter is concerned, I dress her for inside with a jacket. Cuz guess what? They don't spend that much time outdoors so I'm not going to sweat my child to death.

    Does this include bike riding in 30-something degree rainy weather, though? I don't always put a coat on my son to run to the mailbox or even to get in the car but if we were going for a walk or to be outside for any period of time, I do dress his little body for the weather.

    I'm sure He'd help if He could, but I think he's busy planning His birthday party.

    And if I went biking in that kind of weather my daughter wouldn't be with me. that's ridiculous. 

    And Jesus' birthday is in the spring, not at christmas. And before you get all omg I am a christian, we DO celebrate his bday this time, but it's not his actual bday. No one knows the exact time and day but we do know it's actually late spring early summer.
