I will more than likely have them in the next few weeks and was wondering if anyone could share their experience with me. I want to know where the injection site is, how many you got, how many weeks? Thanks

This. I had them with Logan at 25 weeks. They go in your bum/side bum amd they do sting. Feels like an intense bee or wasp sting but aren't "painful.". The sting goes away after a few minutes.

I got mine at 32w for PTL issues, 24 hours apart. The first one hurt like crazy but I think it might have been just the nurse who injected it because the second one wasn't nearly as bad.
It did help to have DH rub the injection site afterwards for a couple of minutes. And like a PP suggested, lie on the opposite side of the shot afterwards.
Good luck!

Pain is not concerning, I get progesterone on my bum weekly LOL but I wanted to now how it was given exactly. I didn't know if they had to go through my stomach or anything like that. Also did you get any side effects? Do you feel they helped? I have heard of people getting 2 and women getting some weekly. Thank you ladies!

I got them about an hour before they delivered DD. that whole process was such a blur, I honestly don't remember where they did the injection.
Thankfully, even though she was so small at birth, she was only on the Capp for less than 24 hours. They next day, she was breathing room air.
