Oh crap!! Left BM on counter for 45 min-1 hr...is it wasted?

I put it back in the fridge when I realized it, but it had been sitting out for a little less than an hour.  Is it safe to give to LO later today after its been refrigerated again?  I just pumped it last night....I thought the rule I heard from the LC was the "Rule of 5s", meaning 5 hours on the counter, 5 days in the fridge and 5 weeks in the freezer, and she said that was being conservative..

    No, he didnt drink any of it. I took it out to use some on the awful cradle cap/baby dandruff that he has, seeing as it seems like breastmilk is the answer to alot of skin problems, at least on this board, LOL!

    Should be fine.  You can also smell it--it smells bad if it's not good, just like cow's milk would.
