Awake times 7-8mos

What are average awake times typically for your 7-8 month old? From morning wake-up to first nap, between naps, and from last nap to asleep for bed.

    DD wakes up around 7-7.30am - morning nap at 10 (about an hour & 15 min) - afternoon nap between 3-4pm (usually only 1/2 hr) - asleep by 6.30pm.

    On weekdays, at day care:

    Up for the day around 7 a.m.

    Nap around between 9 and 10 a.m. for 30 minutes

    Nap around 1 p.m. for 2 hours

    Bedtime is about 7 p.m.

    On weekends:

    Up for the day around 7 a.m.

    Nap around 10 a.m. for about 30 minutes

    Nap around 2 p.m. for about 30 minutes

    Sometimes a 3rd nap around 4:30 for about 30 minutes

    Bedtime at about 7 p.m.

    Wish I could figure out how DCP gets her to sleep for 2 hours in the afternoon!!

    Not sure what the average is but my LO is usually up around 6:30/7:00 am, naps around 9:30 for a half hour, naps around 1:30/2:00 pm for another half hour and is in bed at 6:30pm. This past week LO had 2 naps that were an hour and a half, let's hope it's progress!!

    Right now, my LO's schedule is:

    Up @ 7:00

    Nap @ 9:00 for about an hour

    Nap @ 1:00/1:30 for 3 hours

    Bed at 7:00

    I think I'm pretty lucky. He loves his sleep right now and generally sticks to this schedule...unless I really have to get something done. He has been known to boycott naps when that's the case.

    my LO needs a nap after being up for about 3 hours. sometimes in the afternoon he can go about 4 hours but that is really pushing it!!! right now naps just started being about 1 hour to about 2 hours sometimes! hoping it stays that way and he doesn't revert to the nasty 30 min nap!

    Looks like DS is awake a little less than the average before he needs to nap. He's awake ~2 hours before first nap, 2.5-3.5hrs before the second nap, and 2.5-3hrs before asleep at bedtime. His two naps are each between 1-2.5hrs, a total of ~3-3.5hrs napping on a good day.
