Great Lands' End deal!

Sorry girls, I may be annoying with the shopping posts today.

I just bought a backpack and lunchbag for under $10 shipped.

I bought this:

https://www.landsend.com/pp/DoubleDutyBackpack~224142_-1.html?bcc=y&action=order_more&sku_0=::ASE&cm_mmc=Affiliate-_-DEEPLINK-_-TXT-_-xxxx&af_id=linkshare

and this:

https://www.landsend.com/pp/ClassMateSmallHaulLunchSack~224118_-1.html?bcc=y&action=order_more&sku_0=::NAV&CM_MERCH=IDX_Boys-_-BackpacksLunchBoxesLuggage-_-LunchBoxesFoodContainers&origin=index

and used code DONNER with pin 1585 to get 40% off and free shipping.

eta:  Code is good for 40% of everything (I think ) and free shipping

  • I will probably get one for each kids and store them for school next year at that price. I love LE bags.

  • My DS is only about 43", anyone have a guess if this thing would be huge for him?  Then again with how much he is eating he might be 5' by Kindergarten (j/k obviously.)  Thanks

  • Is that code just for the those items or can it be used on other things as well?
  • Sweet.  Most of the colors of the original open totes in large are marked down to $20.50.  I'm getting two, with the code for $24.  I use them for everything - groceries, the pool, the beach, etc.  I might get a few smaller ones, too, b/c I think I only have large sized totes.

  • Perfect! Thank you! Dd still needed boots for this winter. Boots, a backpack and a lunchbox were $21 shipped!

Maybe try the FeatheLight 100?  That one says it's for 3'6" - 4'.  It's also on sale for $9.99

  • Two backpacks and two FeatherLight lunch boxes for $17.56 shipped.

I will be getting 6% back from Ebates, 11% credit for UPromise and points for the Shop Your Way Rewards program. I was able to redeem $1.47 in rewards to reduce the price for the bags. Yay!

  • Looks like the code is good through Monday.  Thanks for the replies so I knew it wasn't just a sale on backpacks!  I'll check it out later.

  • Yes, the code is good for more than the backpacks.  I was too busy shopping to update.  Embarrassed

  • I got two of the large totes for $16 shipped.  The purple for my mom and teal for step mom.  Thanks for the cheap presents. :)

  • I was going to post about this too!  I got a winter jacket and 2 fleece jackets for $42 shipped.  That's nuts!
  • Thanks for sharing! I got a tote for my MIL to use at the beach for $16 and a cashmere sweater for my FIL that ended up being $12!
  • Rats. I wanted some totes but they disappeared as I was logging in to pay for them. So far today I've bought 2 backpacks, 2 lunch boxes, a pair of boots for DS, a set of flannel sheets + spare pillowcases and a new needlepoint stocking for me.

The stockings are a great deal. They're usually $24.50, are down to $9.99 and then you get 40% off, the monogramming is free, the shipping is free.

    $12 cashmere? Do tell.

  • Yet another reason to love them...

I just remembered that I bought DH a pair of shoes last week. Called and they did a price adjustment, saving me an additional twelve bucks. Woo hoo!

I did that too on some snow boots I ordered!

I also joined the Rewards club, but after I placed more orders than I am going to tell you.  They gladly applied it to each order and let me hang up while they went through each one and manually entered the number on them.

    I need an intervention!

    I have you beat!

The lady on the phone said I won the prize for most orders today. :)

I think I placed 9.  In my defense, a few just had single items like a hat, pants or a tie.  I'll have to go back and add everything up.

  • Hhmmm, I just ordered Joey's coat, Cam's coat, both boots and a scarf the other day.  My MIL paid (it's her annual Christmas present for them).  I should call her and have her call, if they are doing price adjustments.

I'm going to call her now.

My adjusted order was placed Cyber Monday, so I don't think they are sticklers for that.

  • Anybody know if you can return them somewhere without shipping back?  I'd like to order some sweaters but I've never ordered anything from there before.  Not sure how they'd fit.

  • Well, MIL is calling now.  I thought it would save her about $100 but then I realized it would be off the full price, not the sale price.  So it would still save about $40.  And the order was placed 12/05 so within the 2 weeks so that should be ok.  Hopefully it saves her some.  She spent $300 on two coats, two boots and a scarf.  If I could reduce that to $260 for her, I'd be pscyhed!  :)
  • So, um, I still need to send something to H's aunt and uncle.  Would matching, monogrammed totes be weird?

No, it's not off full price. Everything that I bought was on sale.

If she spent $300, she should get a refund of $120.

I ended up placing another order. LOL

I got a dress and 5 pairs of solid colored leggings for DD and a polo shirt for DS... $26.74, for a grand total of $122.xx. I think that I have done exceedingly well for that money.

They didn't give it to her!  UGH!  I'm so freaking mad.  Her order is dated 12/05.  It was an online order so they can clearly see it.  The girl who answered said she "submitted the request" to have it done because she is not authorized.  BS!  I'm so freaking mad.  And my MIL is so passive that she didn't push the issue.  I would have had $120 back and gift card towards a future purchase, just for good measure.  LOL

Ah well, I'm not going to stress about it (yes I am!)!  Not my money (STILL bothered by it)!  LOL

  • I would call back every day until they give it to her. LOL

I just totalled up all of my orders. I got $435 worth of merchandise for $103.38 plus tax, which is 76% off the regular prices. I can deal with that.

Jodi, I ordered 11/28 and received an adjustment.  Plus, I had already used a promotion code for that purchase, but asked for it anyway since this is better.  Normally they don't do that, but did "as a one time courtesy".  I would push it for sure.
