Ooh, ooh, here's an "I'll never"

I'll never make out with my kid. Not as a joke. Not in front of their peers. Not ever.

How did those parents not get in trouble?  Since when is it okay to make out with your kid?  How did the school endorse that?

  • This is wrong on many levels.

And if I was the spouse of one of these people - there'd be a whole lotta problems.

  • OMG... those POOR kids! They were put in that position by their parents, teachers and peers. Not okay. How terribly embarrassing too.

Did you see that one Mom grab her son's hand and place it on HER butt? Ick!

  • I like the post attached to this video.  Where she highlights sexual abuse is the key point for me-- that's really serious.  And she's right.  I can't imagine how this was decided to be a "good" idea.

The only thing I can think of is that whoever organized this was imagining that the parents would have some sense of decency and it would only be a quick little peck, rather than the prolonged full on kissing that apparently ended up happening.

    Still.

By the way, like I said, I did not watch through to the end. Did they show the reactions of the kids when they took their blindfolds off? I'm curious if any really freaked out.

This is what happened...the peck on the cheek...at one of our pep rallies.  A few moms of a couple of football players came in.  The boys were blindfolded and they each received a kiss on the cheek.  They had to guess which cheerleader kissed them.  When the boys took off their blindfolds, they were surprised.  They all gave hugs to their moms.

When I first heard what they were doing, I thought the worst was going to happen.  But fortunately, it turned out to be a sweet moment.  THERE WAS NO MAKING OUT!!!!
