I've been having about 3 weeks of like no BM and having to supplement with formula. At this point im lucky to get in 1 feeding a day. I have a hospital pump and I do pump (or try to) like 6-8 times a day..hardly anything comes out. Before I go to the doc about this..has anyone had success with that Mother's Milk tea?

Re: Anybody had success with Mother's Milk tea?
It has helped me mostly when I've had a temporary supply drop and need to up my supply. I reccommend that you get on a regular pumping/nursing schedule, ensure that you are getting enough calories and are staying hydrated. Maybe also make some lactation cookies? But you need to tell your body that it needs to make more. Have you tried a power pumping session? Basically, you will pump ever ten minutes for ten minutes for an hour.
Start pumping at 5pm
stop pumping at 5:10pm
pump at 5:20
Stop at 5:30
start at 5:40
stop at 5:50
start at 6
stop at 6:10
(you can pick whichever time works for you, but you get the idea.) You can do this a few times a day for a few days, and you should see a difference.
I haven't, but I think you're also suppose to drink like 3-4 cups a day. I do even cover my cup when it steeps to get it good and strong. My thought, and it might be wrong, is that the tea is more for milk content and not as much for supply.
I have a question about the power pumping though, what's the difference between doing that vs just pumping for the full hour?
