I got rejected last night. It was the very first time in our whole relationship that he said no to sex and left me disappointed. He said it was too much that the doctor said the baby dropped because he didn't want to "hit the baby in the head or something" and its "just too weird with baby so close" I tried to reassure him and even showed him in what to expect when you're expecting where it says you can have sex up until your water breaks! But still no sex for me. So I guess it'll be 6 weeks post partum + however long until this baby comes!

My DH would kill me for posting this....but I honestly don't know the last time I got any. It has honestly been since he's seen him on our ultrasound at like 18 weeks. Since then he has been totally creeped out by the idea of having sex with LO so close. I think he's afraid he's going to hurt him, even though I had the doctor tell him that he won't.

At first I would get really frustrated and cry b/c I thought it was me, but we sat and talked about it one night and that is what he told me....Guess I won't be getting any until like Easter...ugh.

I made a few snarky comments to my DH early on about "some" guys and their lack of understanding of anatomy and overinflated sense of their own length and girth. Since then, no mentions of concerns about bumping into the baby.

Last time we did it, my FI said he felt LO grab him... really??? Haven't gotten lucky since then, guess he's a little creeped out by it too.

Oh man.. since 18 weeks? I'm so sorry! The best part about my SO is that he still thinks I'm going to do him "favors". Hmm try again! If I'm not getting anything then neither is he.

Ha ha! As if that is something we really feel like doing at this point! My poor DH hasn't gotten any since the first week of September. I feel really bad about it, but I haven't had any desire to have sex and, to his credit, he has not complained at all. Of course, I know him well enough to know he's probably taking care of matters on his own. LOL. Hopefully the drive will return once DS is born and it's safe to resume activity.

My dh stopped putting out at the beginning of September. He is completely freaked out with the idea of the baby being in there. This also goes for any "favors" for me or for him. At least he's very affectionate but I'm looking forward to 6 weeks pp when we get the okay to get busy (I'll probably be too tired at that point though, lol).

Yeah... the second my DH heard that I have started to dilate and have a soft cervix... that was it for me too, it freaks him out! LOL

I got rejected for the first time ever a couple months ago. That is really the worst feeling!! After crying about it to him a week later, he hasn't rejected me since, but he will not initiate. And I really wanted it during the second trimester. I haven't wanted it so much the last 3 weeks, and I don't think he would want to since I was put on bed rest for a couple weeks. I am not doing him any favors either. If you don't want to give me any...I am not going to go out of my way either.

Sex isn't happening in our house, either. The last time we tried was about 3 weeks ago and it was so hard to find a position that worked that it was almost comical. Honestly, I think we've only had sex 2-3 times since August, though I was on pelvic rest from mid-August through late October. I may try to start something this weekend since it's been a while and I'd like to do something, even if it's not actual sex. Though if it is, bring it on - maybe it'll help kickstart labor

I'm glad I'm not the only one! It's not like I've really felt up to having sex that much lately, but it makes me sad that I'm not gonna get any at all for a very long time!

OMG I'm so sorry. My DH is one of those men that thinks pregnancy is super sexy. I can't keep him off my boobs or my a$$! LOL. I've turned him down just a couple of times because of BH contractions that were making me feel all weird about it, but other than that...it has been sex as normal since we got prego. Although I'm not digging the two positions that we can do since my belly is so big.

We haven't had sex in a few weeks now. My SO would love it several times every day if he could but I haven't been feeling sexy or comfortable at all. It's been difficult to find a good position and with all the changes in my body it just doesn't feel the same or good. I feel bad because of it but can't lie about how I'm feeling. My SO is good about it and says he can't wait until after baby and I've healed to go back to a healthy sex life. Me either!
