Breastfeeding..Do I wake baby up to eat @ night?

Hello,

I am breastfeeding my 2 month son and he is starting to sleep longer stretches of the night should I wake him up to feed? I want to keep up my milk supply..what to do? What will happen he I do let him wake up on his on and wait?

    Your supply will regulate itself. As long as he's been gaining weight there's no reason to wake him up to feed.

    My pedi told us right from the start  not wake her at night to eat.  She wakes up when she's hungry and that's what matters.

    I agree with previous posters.  At this age there is no reason to wake LO up as long as she is gaining weight approprietly.  If LO was hungry, he/she would let you know!  And your supply will  just adjust to meet her new needs of not needing to nurse during the night.
