Can you Premake Pancakes?

I am suppose to make an entree for Breakfast with Santa and have no idea what to make. Mind you I just had a root canal (which sucked by the way) but need to make something for in the morning so I don't have to scramble and do it then.

Re: Can you Premake Pancakes?

  • Yes!  I freeze pancakes all the time.  Microwave each one about 30 seconds and they're still good, the kids eat them all the time.

  • I love Batter Blaster. It is organic pancake batter in a can. It works great and tastes yummy. It is really easy to use and doesn't require much set up or clean up.

We love attempting batter blasters. It always results in several batches of trash though :

Make and freeze works fine :)

However, I honestly think they come out a bit rubbery after they've been frozen/reheated, but I am admittedly a pancake snob.  IMO, once you get the griddle to the right temp making pancakes goes pretty quick and shouldn't be too bad.  I did pancakes for a holiday party a couple weeks ago and I made a couple dozen mini pancakes the morning of in about an hour.
