Shoe brands?

We have been exclusively a Stride Rite family, and I'd like to branch out, especially because DD needs boots and the selection at our Stride Rite is slim.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

    Someone on this board recommended See Kai Run shoes, and I think I like them better than Stride Rite. It probably depends on your kid, but I think they fit my kid's feet better.

    I love See Kai Run and Pedipeds although both are a bit pricey.  I love that they don't overdo the embellishment like Striderite does on most girls shoes.  I have found good deals on 6pm.com though.  I have found that Pedipeds tend to run smaller than SKR or SR.

    We do Stride Rite, See Kai Run, Cros (for the summer), LL Bean and Lands End.  I also throw some less expensive dress shoes in the mix since these are not everyday shoes.

    For everyday shoes, Stride Rite and See Kai Run are the best for my LO.

    As a PT, I can't recommend Crocs as an everyday shoe. I have just seen too many accidents/falls in them. But I do occasionally buy a cheaper dress shoe for church/holidays etc.
