Seeing the change in hair color in Mands LO's pictures in the other post got me thinking.

If LO was born with hair, has the color changed since then?

DS2 barely had any hair but what he did have was light brown. I think that it is starting to get a little bit darker but is still brown.

DS1 was born with jet black hair and now has brown hair with natural red and blond highlights. When we go to the beach in the summer, it looks like we put tiny highlights in his hair because the colors stand out so much more.

It's a little darker but I guess that's expected since it's grown in thicker. It's brown with red highlights. I was born with jet black hair and ended up a blonde as a child and now I have light brown hair.

DD was born with quite a bit of dark brown/black hair. It has since gotten really, really light.

(although most of it disappeared) and now it's growing back really light. Light brown and in the sun, blondish.

C was born with light reddish blond hair and it hasn't changed color. (It hasn't grown in that much either!)

She was born with darker brown hair, then she became a baldy, and now it's slowly growing in as medium brown. But she's still pretty much a baldy on top!

Yes! G was born with jet black hair with little blonde tips. It has now lightened up considerably, and looks more like mine? A light brown.

DS was born with medium/dark brown hair. It fell out, some started to grow back, that fell out, and then finally around 6 mo he started really growing hair again. The hair that has grown back is light brown or dirty blonde. But it's still SO thin that I bet it would look darker once it is thicker. He still has very little hair overall.

At birth, his hair was light brown/dark blonde, but it has progressively gotten darker. DH and I have dark hair, but both have immediate family members with platinum blonde hair, so the genetic lottery could go either way.

B had some reddish/brown fuzz when she was born.

Now she has light blondish fuzz.

She's still pretty bald...

Yeah, he was born with dark brown hair (almost black), then it went to dark brown/red/blonde mixture, then to red/blonde, now its pretty much just blonde.

H had almost auburn colored hair when she was born (a medium to dark brown with significant red undertones) and it has all turned light blond, very close to my hair color.

i'm actually kind of sad i never got around to clipping a bit of the dark hair to save for her baby book.

DS was born with a lot of really dark hair, which DH and I both have, so that was no surprise. It is surprising now, however, that he has light brown hair!
