Freezer Stash

My freezer stash is starting to take over my freezer. =]
(Have freezer stash for just incase i don't pump enough as i have return to work full time. I'm planning to nurse DD till she is 1 and than letting her wean herself)
I have a mini fridge that apparently freezes everything even in the lowest setting.
Can I use it as a freezer? Will the 3-6 month rule work?

    I would take a thermometer and leave it in the mini fridge for 12 hours and see what the temp is.  Compare that to the temp of your freezer and if it is around the same, I would think you would be fine.  If you do you use the mini fridge, I would leave the thermometer in the fridge so you can periodically check the temperature.

    Do you have any room for a small deep freezer?  They are so nice to have.  I liked keeping my milk in my side by side, so everything else (except one shelf and the door) was full of milk.  So everything else went in the little chest freezer.  It was very ice and I think less than $200.
