Dependant Question

DH and I are both AD.  SS lives with his mother primarily, but we have visitation during the summer months and holidays.  DH gets paid for having a dependant.  My question is, should I be also, or is it just the birth parent?  Or is it just one parent in the family that gets the dependant pay?  Thanks!

    Only one person gets the dependent pay.  DH and I are both AD too.  Whomever is the higher ranking of the two of us will claim the kids, but in our case, the kids are biologically both of ours.

    Just like PP said only one gets the dependat pay and it would be him because he's the legal parent of the child.
