Hi -
Not sure if I'll get any responses, but I figure this is a large network of people - might work.
My husband's job got relocated to Dublin (actually Blanchardstown). We are moving in three weeks with our 20 month old for six months.
Does anyone know the area? Best place to live in Dublin with little one? Any help would be SO appreciated. I'm feeling very overwhelmed.
Re: Moving to Dublin, Ireland
We have a ton of family in Dublin and I really like the Celbridge area. I have also stayed in Donnybrook and thought it was very nice.
EDIT: I just looked up Blanchardstown and saw that it is NW of the city. Both of the places I mentioned are south. We also have family in Finglas, but I haven't been there.
I would check out the International Nesties board - there are a ton of ladies all over the world on there.
I'm originally from Scotland, and haven't spent a great deal of time in Ireland, my family has visited Dublin, and it's a lovely place, but I wouldn't know about good places to live etc.
Hopefully the international ladies will be more help!
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.
