Oral rinse - Chlorhexidine

I went to the dentist and was given a rinse to use for my swollen gums (I think due to having been pregnant).  I was about to use the rinse but read the directions first.  It says not to use if pregnant or BF - contact your doctor.  I will do so tomorrow, but anyone use this while BF?  I won't until I know I can for sure from a doctor.

    It's completely fine. You're not swallowing the CHX. I'm a hygienist and we give this rinse to all patients before cleanings to reduce the bacteria in the mouth.
