Yes, I'm crying over spilled milk. Well, no, not really, but I am frustrated with my own clumsiness. I knocked over one of my bottles of pumped milk as I was picking it up to pour into a storage bag. Caught it and saved half of it, but lost 2 ounces in the process (which is a lot to me). Not to mention it spilled on my pants, and all over my desk. Lovely.
Fun times.

My Blog

I spilled milk 2 weeks ago - in my CAR. Not only was I frustrated over the spilled milk but now there's milk in my car's carpet too...sigh.
And last night I didn't wash daycare bottles right away. And this morning I found a full bottle that was left out overnight.
Nobody but other mom's understands just HOW sad that is.
I'm sorry you lost 2oz - I totally understand!
Ugh. That's milk worth crying over. Thanks for understanding (though I'm sorry you do)!
ETA: What makes me cry is that though on the grand scheme, 2 oz isn't a ton, I only can pump about 10 oz a day and have no reserve, so whatever I can pump means that much less formula I have to give him. I'm glad there's formula to make up for my lack, but would rather give him more milk if I can!

I started thawing bags of milk inside a larger ziploc bag after losing way too much milk this way.
