an acquaintance of mine posted that her LO is over her "milk intolerance". she is 10 months old. I asked her how she knew and she said they did a blood test. I am not sure when this kids intolerance started but I think it was much later on, maybe around 6 months when she started solids from what I recall and I don't know exactly the severity. Anyway my LO is MSPI and I was never offered a blood test for him to check for an intolerance or lack there of. Does anyone have any info on this? I am going to bring it up at his 9 month well baby visit. TIA!
Re: blood testing for MSPI?
No tests until 1 year old but only if needed. The idea is to start with yogurt and see reaction. Around 10m slowly move to Similac Sensitive from Similac Alimentum and after 1 year try to do regular milk.
Ive heard by 2 year old kids can outgrow it.
