I'm bored and curious what you all think of my list. I realize there are a few I have both boy and girl names right now, as we dont find out until 1/6. Then I can start narrowing things down and hopefully find something that fits. Last name is Robertson if that changes opinions on any names (or if you want to suggest something). I've also picked middle names for some - they aren't double first names!

Re: If you want to vote on names... LIP
Thanks for the opinions!
Of your girl names, my favourites are Brenna, Charlotte, Hailey, Samantha, and Savannah. I actually love Brenna- it's not too yooneek, but it's pretty and unusual. Tyler, Hayden, Shea, and Blake are boys' names to me. I think Avery, Harper, and Harlow are super trendy- they are NMS at all.
I read a lot of Baby-Sitters Club books growing up (ok, maybe I still read one every now and then...) and every time I see the name Mallory on this board I think, "Why does she want to name her daughter after poor unfortunate Mallory Pike!" So I can't get on board with that name, lol.
From the boys, I like Brody, Cameron, Cole, Derek, Levi, Mason, and Spencer. I'm not a fan of Logan for the same reason I'm not a fan of Mallory (ok...maybe I have a problem!). Warner sounds too much like a last name to me. Athan looks like you just forgot the 'N' at the start. I like Wesley, but not paired with Colt.
Weston Colt sounds like his parents are co-presidents of the NRA.
Edit: I just realised the gun name is Wesson, not Weston. Still, a bit too close for me!
top 3 for each: spencer (love), logan, cameron/savannah grace (love), mallory and charlotte
athan, tyler for a girl and blake are pretty bad IMO. i know a lot of people think blake is unisex but i don't.
Thanks for all your feedback. That cracks me up about the Babysitter's Club books. I never read them so I can't make that connection, but I definitely can understand where you come from. I love the name Charlotte, but recently since I've been watching Revenge, I associate it with Charlotte Grayson.
As for the NRA reference, that's funny. DH and I are actually right wingers (I know, I know - not the most popular around here) and strongly support gun rights (he's an NRA member but I'm not), so that's funny that it comes across in the names I like.
But again, thanks so much for taking the time to give me this feedback. I appreciate it!
ETA - I had posted a couple weeks ago about Warner. It's a family name and is DH's middle name, which is why it's in the mix. Normally I'm not huge on last names as first names, but in this case, I like it

Thank you! Your LO is adorable and I love the name Carter, but H's brother took it, so I couldn't have it on my list. But I love it

I love girl name Brenna. I would totally use it, but we named DS Bennett and I think they're too close to use for siblings. (It was a name we were considering for DS if he were a girl.)
Things will be much clearer once you find out the gender. Then you can really focus on the name that's right for your baby.
GL!
Girls: I love Brenna & Hailey
Boys: I love Cameron, Colton, and Logan
