Hi!  Thanks again for your support and responses while I have gone through this.  I did want to ask, how long did your OB tell you not to take folic acid.  My OB said 1 shot did not require me to stop, but read enough on the internet to get worried it could interfere, so I haven't been taking it for the last week or so.  (I had the shot 2 wks ago yesterday).  It isn't clear from what I read how long that is - is it until my #s drop to 0?  Is it the first week?  I just am wondering what you were advised?  Thanks!

    I'm glad I could be helpful. 

    I had two shots at the same visit and the literature I was given said I needed to stop taking folic acid and not resume until I got back to 0.  I had beta hcg tests run every three days until I got to zero, which took two full weeks.  Have you checked yours recently?

    I should have started taking folic acid again as soon as I got to 0 but I didn't.  I was still really upset about the whole thing and wanted to ignore it for a bit I guess.  I had been taking PNV for more than three years at that point and needed a break from the reminder.  I started them again as soon as I found out I was pg again.

    I hope you are back to normal again soon.

    So my beta 2 wks ago (day I got the shot) was 6598 I think, we are checking weekly and last tues it was 3000something, yesterday was 935, so good big drops, but want to be done....
