Is it tacky?

Is it tacky to stick a thank you card inside of a Christmas card?  I am getting ready to send both and everyone getting a thank you card is also getting a Christmas card.  I just hate to spend double postage!

    I don't think so. I just always look for a nice personalized thank you...it doesn't matter how it comes. I wouldn't want to waste the postage either.

    I know its a bummer, but I tend to lean towards yes, its tacky....

    2 seperate occasions should merit 2 seperate acknowledgments. Sad

    I don't think it is tacky at all. If you were saying 2 thank you cards I might say tacky, but it is the equivalent of putting a picture in with a thank you card, that wouldn't be seen as tacky.

    Okay I'm doing it! I figure it would be way worse to write a thank you ON the actual Christmas card, but I have a totally separate card to stick inside. I'm all about saving the money.

    I'd do it! Agree with the PP who said it's like putting a photo in the thank you card.

    I think it's pretty tacky but I guess it depends on your friends and family.

    Are you planning on putting the "thank you" in the actual Christmas card or are you planning on having a Chistmas card and a separate Thank you card but just put them in the same envelope?
    IMO I think the second would be totally fine (and something I would do) The first I dont think I would do. Now do I think its tacky, not really, I just wouldnt personally do it.
