Breech/Transverse Baby?

Hi there! So I'm stressing because I'm pretty positive our little guy is not head down yet and I'm 33 1/2 weeks. Anyone else in the same boat or have had this happen in prior pregnancies? What was the outcome? I'm not so much worried about have a c-section (though it's not my first choice) but stupid me starting reading online about breech babies and how they have a minor chance (but I guess more than babies that are head down) of having abnormalities. I feel like I definitely worry in general more than the average person but am just wondering what others experiences are. Thanks!

  • I'm 35 weeks and our little guy is breech... as of now.  I'm trying everything to get him turned and we have a follow up u/s on Tuesday to see where he is.  My biggest concern IS a c-section.  As far as abnormalities, haven't heard that one before.  Our guy is just fine... just upside down.

  • I had never heard of it before either until I stupidly starting getting into things online. We just had an ultrasound at 30 weeks and everything looked totally fine with him so the nurse said I shouldn't be concerned but I'm going to see my doctor today anyway because I've been so stressed. I think they want to calm me down! I just cannot help that I'm a stressful person!!
  • My LO was breech at about 29 weeks so my midwife recommended spinningbabies.com. I did the inversions and Rebozo technique with my husband every night and within a few weeks we were turned the right way. No, we will never know whether it was the exercises or just baby moving because that's what he/she was "supposed to do" but it is definitely worth a shot!

  • my baby is transverse and my OB said not to worry, babies flip and turn right up until you go into labor.

  • DS was breech, double footling breech too.  He was just fine.  I had a scheduled c-section and he is perfect. This little one is also breech, he is a similar position in my stomach, so the doctor is pretty sure I have a mis-shaped uterus, and that is just how my babies are.  I have a scheduled c-section for this one too on December 27th.  Some babies just don't turn.
