Austin Babies

A little dust for us please

Brooke has been fussy for what seems like a month, but with no symptoms. Our pedi is one of my best friends and we have play group on Mondays, she's checked out B the past few weeks and all she thinks is teething - this baby STILL does not have any teeth! So today she woke up at 9 crying and has a low fever. I can't put her down, and nothing makes her happy. Tylenol seems to be doing well so far. So if u can spare any **come on teeth or whatever this is dust*** I would really appreciate it. Being home all day with a sick baby is so hard. We had a big date night and planned for her to spend the night w my mom tonight too :( I'm bummed. Thanks y'all :)

  • B, girlfriend, get those teeth out! I can't believe she still doesn't have any teeth. I betcha she's got four or so all working their way up at once. I hope these teeth or whatever the HECK is going on passes ASAP!

  • I know! But I can't see anything coming in at all. She's laying on me with her blanket watching PBS. Poor girl :(

  • Poor baby Sad With Liv's teeth, I haven't seen or felt any of them coming. Just grumpy baby and then BOOM, tooth. Hopefully that's all it is and she's just getting several over with at once!
  • I hope your right? Do y'all have any tips on stuff to try and make her happy today?

  • My husband didn't have any teeth until he was 14 months old.  It can happen, but I hope they come soon for her!
  • Oh poor B and poor Mommy!  I hope it is teeth and I hope they bust their way out very soon.  My only advice is to snuggle up with her, that usually helps Felix when he is sad.
  • I feel your pain.  DD only has 3 teeth, it seems like she is *always* teething, because it takes sooooo long for them to finally cut through. Hyland's work pretty well for us, tylenol or motrin when they're really bothering her.  hope they pop through soon!
  • My nephew didn't get any teeth until 15 or 17 months (can't remember which) and he's perfectly healthy and otherwise developed on schedule.  I second the Hylands Teething Tablets recommendation - those worked the best to comfort DS when he was teething.  You might also try freezing a wet washcloth, and then letting her chew on it - it might make her gums feel better.  Poor baby girl!
