Intro and Question - Day Care Providers in Pearland?

Good morning ladies,

I normally post on my BMB, but have lurked on this board before and found it helpful.  Now I come asking for help and suggestions.  We are expecting our first child in February, and live in West Pearland. I had daycare lined up in our area to start in mid-April, but they called last week, admitted an error, and let us know the earliest we could get in is Sept/Oct.  So now I'm scrambling, and am definitely worried.

Can anyone recommend daycare in our area that may have an opening?  I'm already on the waiting list at UH (I work there), but if that doesn't work out, I'll need something else. Any suggestions (centers or home) are welcome.

    Some that I know of that are good (I used to live in West Pearland, SCR, up until this past May):

    Tottenberry's ~ that's where my DD went for the previous school year and we LOVED it.

    St. Andrew's (a little further down 518, though)

    Eagle Heights

    Heritage Christian (although I have a feeling that might be where you're talking about)

    Kids R Kids in SCR

    Downtown Montessori in Silverlake

    Silverline Montessori in Silverlake

    Primrose in SCR (or there's one in Silverlake)
