NBR: What are you asking for for Christmas?

DH and I had decided not to get each other anything this year, but now he's changed his mind.  He came up with a few things he needs and asked me what I needed.  I don't really need anything and honestly can't come up with anything I even want (other than a new book to read).  What are you asking for?  Anyone not exchanging with DH this year?

    DH and I aren't exchanging gifts, but I told him what I want in case anyone else in my family asks him what they could get me. I want eco-friendly, non-toxic make up! I've gone nuts about being chemical free and eco-friendly and my last step is make-up!!!

    I asked for a sewing machine case. Yep, that's my big gift request this year. Lol. He asked me to make a wish list on amazon so I added some stuff that would be nice but not at all needed like pearl earrings and some really nice yarn. I really need my sewing machine case though.

    I asked for a spa gift certificate like I do every year and the cross country ski attachment for my jogging stroller/baby bike trailer.

    Dh wanted some parts for his dirt bike so I got them for him but he cantopen them until Christmas. And DH and I went and got a watch for me but also I dont get it until Christmas. All I really want are new clothes. I have nothing that fits me anymore. I have lost all my baby weight but things are just different now and dont fit right.

    I asked for a warm robe (getting up early with LO is getting cold!), new slippers, and a bike for a triathlon I'm training for! 

    With LO so young this year, we're just getting him a couple of new toys and so this is the last year we will get much for each other.  Starting next year, I'm sure DS will know more of what's going on and the focus will be completely on him.  

    Can't wait for that!

    I asked for a new hair straightner and a few gift cards.

    He asked for some guitar stuff.

    For our joint gift we bought a new water cooler for the kitchen.

    You ladies are way more creative than me.  I thought about asking for a sewing machine because I really like the idea of learning to sew, but I don't know if I'd actually be up for the challenge.

    There's a 31 purse I like, but a purse is the last thing I need.

    You should totally ask for a sewing machine!! I love sewing and once you get the basics your knowledge grows quickly. Plus there are a ton of tutorials and books. I know Joann's does a class for beginners as well.

    I asked for a bunch of books, a chi, hair rollers, food processor, a couple shirts and a few things from etsy shops i like (wallets, headbands.. etc..)

     i made an amazon wish list and i always make an online list with links for my husband.. so i gave the link to my mil this year too in hopes of better gifts.. she is of the quantity over quaility and i like quaility over quantity..

     i may have snooped and i may be already excited to open my presents!

    I'm getting a PPB Cake bag from DH and a Fossil wallet and watch from my parents.  I haven't been able to think of many things I want, so I've requested seasons of Gilmore Girls and Boy Meets World from anyone else who has asked.

    I'm trying really hard not to go snoop at my wish list. It's hard when I'm already there and looking at my family members lists. So far I've prevailed but I don't know if that will last.
