Nightmares?

One of my 6-month olds has started having night terrors (or that's what it seems like to me). She never really wakes up but will cry and/or scream. Initially, she would let out a scream and go right back to sleep. It has become worse in the last few nights. I usually have to go in and soothe her back to sleep. Last night she did this 4 times, 3 of which I had to go into her room. Has anyone else experienced this?

    DS has an episode at around 5m that I knew was a night terror, but the dr said it wasn't. Babycenter.com has info on night terrors and that is exactly what DS had. Uncontrollable hysterical screaming for 30min. His eyes were never open and nothing calmed him down. I was freaking out and just as sudden as it started, it stopped and he went back to sleep.

    A few weeks after that he had another one and I just held him and let him scream, knowing there was nothing I could do. I just waited for it to be over and I put him back in his crib.

    He hasn't had one that bad since then, just waking up screaming and them right back to sleep.
