So Saturday morning, I ran my longest ever: 8.26 miles! (my knees hurt a bit afterwards but I stretched a great deal all weekend.) I felt really great and was able to hold a conversation through the whole run.
Hey! Nice to see another pregnant marathoner! I got the green light from my OB to do a full that I'd registered for in January, but I think I may switch to the half so my mother-in-law won't have a stroke from worrying, or nag me to death Where's your half, and when?
That's awesome! I was running 6 miles a few times a week pre-pregnancy, but my energy was just zapped right out of me.
Last night I did two 9-minute miles. Would totally be embarrassed - but hey, it's a start! Just have to work myself up again. I plan on doing a couple 5Ks when I'm back up to speed.
