Pregnant after a Loss

I seriously love you guys!

In response to the stuff that was asked in the late night ladies post, dh is still coming home late, he thinks he's going to get paid Friday, though his friend (who worked there too, before becoming an inspector) said he probably wont until his next rotation....which starts Dec 28th.  I know things will get better, and I know we will pull through this, I'm seriously hormonal right now, so everything seems bleak.  I'm not sleeping well, it's a combination of hip and pelvic pain, and hubs not being here.  Not to mention, the kids dont like to go to sleep until around 10 or so (and if I can get DD to sleep before DS goes to bed, he wakes her up...).  Also, I am pretty sure that if I talked to my mom about the fact that we wont get paid until after Christmas, she would get my dad to lend me the money to get presents.  So, it's not COMPLETELY hopeless..like I said, I'm just tired and super hormonal.  Oh, and DS is getting aggressive and violent again (he has Aspergers Syndrome and doesnt handle change well) so he keeps head butting me.  Guess where his head hits?  Yeah..belly level.  And he keeps hauling off and smacking his sister.

Anyway, back to why I love you guys.  I was reading the drama post (after I had posted what I did) and I thought "oh geez..I could've sounded as douchy as she did...great"  But y'all gave me support.  And I love that.  Because, you know that we are all going through a rough time.  Or have, at least.

So, anyway, thank you all for supporting me...thoughts and prayers (especially for a paycheck on Friday) would be super appreciative.  And, I really do love you guys <3

Re: I seriously love you guys!

  • First, you didn't sound douchey or anything and you aren't rude or cruel or insensitive.  We are supportive of you because you care about us and you are one of us, we care about you.  It is a two way street.

People have rough times, believe me I know.  All of us do!!  Do you have a Michael's craft shop near you?? They have some awesome gifts for kids right now that are inexpensive.  They have a wooden standing easel for 20.00.  It has a chalk board and dry erase board and everything.

And they are doing buy one get one half off for some of their toys and kids crafts too.

My cousin has aspbergers (sp) but he is also autistic, when he has episodes he can get pretty uhm...rambunctious durring that time.  We use the "calm area" technique.  Basically we remove the outside stimulus until he calms down.  He gets overly stimulated easily and sometimes even hurts himself instead of others so we give him headphones with calming music and coloring books.

I don't know if that is normal or not, but it works for him....

Sorry you are going through so much.  You really do have alot on your plate, you know if you need anything all you have to do is ask.

  • I will have to look into Michaels.  I have one of DD's presents, and all the stocking stuffers, and we have a 3 Santa presents limit (for each kid).  So, they're getting stuff in their stockings, and then 3 presents from Santa (and probably stuff from my siblings, parents and grandparents).  I also already have a present for each of them, from the other.  Unfortunately, DS is 4, so everything he sees on TV, he wants.  Grr.  I did see a Little Tykes tool bench thingy, which wasnt too bad price wise, considering everything in it.  I want to get that for DS's "big Santa" present.  I have ideas, and it wont end up costing too much..thank goodness.

With DS's aspbergers (I honestly have no idea if it's supposed to have a "b" in it or not), he used to have self-inflicted aggression.  He would hurt himself.  Since the move (which is a huge upheaval for him), he has gotten bad again.  We're going to start Occupational Therapy back up for him, and if that doesnt help in a few months or so, (probably a little bit after baby comes) there's a real possibility that he will end up on aggression meds.

To top it off?  I dont want to go to bed.  There is a giant moth in my room.  Ugh
