well our tree looks like we mugged Charlie Brown lol its just a table top tree cos im kind in limbo atm. christmas is super exciting for children and people with children lol so next year will be BIG
but as for now all i really want for christmas it to get the babys room finished. she still needs her crib and some decor. then i can rest easy knowing im ready for her her arrival
The only thing I really want is an iPad but I know it won't be under the tree. Hopefully we'll have enough money the first or second pay check of the new year to get it.
I had a really hard time coming up with ideas this year because I'm trying to go through things and purge what I don't use. I just can't see adding more "stuff" to the house when I have so much that doesn't get used as it is. The "things" I really want are intangible--more time w/ Hubby, the garage organized/cleaned, LOs room finished, and everything in the office put away.

We skipped X-mas presents this year, but we did it in exchange for next year getting all new appliances for our house (an awesome treat for me!). Lol. Our appliances are starting to fall apart one by one...and I think we have stretched their length of life about as long as possible. My stove only has two working burners, the ice maker doesn't work on the fridge, the dishwasher doesn't dispense the liquid dry stuff anymore, there is a penny stuck in between the walls of our dryer that we get to listen to every time we run it...and the washer is just ghetto old.
Ok, that might have been an appliance vent vs. an X-mas wish list...but I had to share! :-)

I would love a pair of Frye "biker" boots in black or a weathered brown...a Pandora bracelet (complete with some starter charms)...a pair of diamond lever back earrings...a Kindle with a GC to download a ton of books on there...a spa robe with a pair of Ugg slippers...and a GC for a million dollars to shop postpartum!
But I'll be happy with some yoga/sweatpants for the postpartum period, to get me through the winter comfy in the house and presentable enough to go out when need be ;-)
The only specific item I want is black knit uggs. Other than that, I want some gift cards so I can buy new clothes after I lose my baby fat. & I know it's probably tacky to ask for gift cards, but in my family gift cards are a popular gift that's given.. A lot of times the family will ask "where do you want a gift card to?" instead of guessing what you'd like at a store, they just give you freedom to get what you want.

Can I take this moment to vent? When DH came to bed, he basically told me that I should want a piano/keyboard so that I can learn and one day teach the baby. I am SO not a music person that is all him. If I wind up with a keyboard as a gift I'm going to be a little annoyed.
From family we mostly just asked for baby things that we are still needing. I have absolutely no idea what DH has gotten me but he usually does really well.
