I live in Chicago... and it's not THAT cold yet (but sure it's not for long).
Really want the North Face Arctic Parka (cute and sooooooooo warm) but... even going a size up for me barely fit over my belly (not sure why I even bothered trying it on... as if I can "invest" $299 on a coat when I have this protrusion in the middle of me).
I have a stupid ON ruffle coat, which is barely cutting it now (in terms of warmth). Any suggestions on a good, WARM coat? (might just wear my husbands... I know it's going to get to the point when I don't care what I look like..) and I can't see myself spending $200 on a maternity coat.
How is everyone else bundling up?
Re: Winter Coat
I got mine at motherhood with a coupon and it ended up being $60. I can always keep it if we decide to have another or give it away to someone who needs it next winter. ON has coats too.
ETA: I am right across the lake from you and can not believe that we still don't have snow and it is 50 degrees out. Not looking good for a white Christmas!
Living in Maine, I had to have a winter coat. But I refused to spend a lot of money on a coat I may possibly never wear again. Especially when I already have a very nice LL Bean coat. So I just bought a wool coat from Old Navy for $40. Not sure how warm it will be since our winter has been mild so far.
The other thing I thought about was buying a fleece coat and puffy vest from WM's online maternity section. That would have only been about $24 but not really my style.

Not a bad idea! Farm and fleet- here I come! (maybe ugly- but should be warm as he!!)
